Matt Sagely
Matt Sagely brings over 20 years of experience in legislative and political strategy to his role at Maven Advocacy. His extensive career in Washington, D.C. spans both chambers of Congress, where he developed a deep expertise in crafting and executing legislative and political strategies in both the private and public sector. Prior to joining Maven Advocacy in 2025, Matt served as Principle, Sagely Solutions, in addition to several senior roles in the private sector, as well as, several board and non-profit positions. These issues often focused on energy, transportation, telecommunications, appropriations and health care. In public service, he most notably served as Chief of Staff to Senator John Boozman (R-AR), overseeing the senator’s fiscal and administrative operations, campaign and fundraising efforts, federal appropriations work, and legislative agenda. Earlier in his congressional career, he was Legislative Policy Director to Congressman Boozman, where he led the legislative staff and directed policy and appropriations initiatives, Congressman Saxby Chambliss (GA) where he played a pivotal role in shaping key legislation, as well as, Legislative Clerk for the U.S. House of Representatives. Matt holds an M.B.A. degree from Marymount University and began his post-graduate career as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, advising federal agencies on marketing and communications strategies. In addition to his policy work, he is an experienced fundraiser and political strategist, supporting members of Congress and private-sector stakeholders alike. Known for his strategic insight and results-driven approach, Matt continues to provide high-level guidance to clients navigating the complexities of Washington.
